What is All In for Alvernia?

All In for Alvernia is our annual campaign to raise funds for the Presidential Hope Fund by engaging with alumni, friends, community members, faculty, staff, and students. The Presidential Hope Fund assists all students (undergraduate, graduate and adult) and families in financial need and provides the university with the flexibility and resources necessary to address student hardships as they arise. 100% of the dollars raised go to Alvernia students. 

Why does my involvement in All In for Alvernia matter?

Being All In for Alvernia is a show of support for current and future students and makes an immediate impact on the Alverniacommunity. All In increases engagement and awareness for alumni, students, parents, employees and friends about the Presidential Hope Fund. From sharing about All In on social media to making a financial gift of any size, your participation also inspires others to join you in caring for our students.

Does a $10 gift really make a difference?

YES! Your gift—no matter the size—is incredibly powerful, and when combined with other gifts, it builds momentum and adds up to make a huge impact for Alvernia students. Your gift during All In for Alvernia goes to the Presidential Hope Fund, directly making an impact on our students,

Can I mail you my gift?

Yes! You should have received information in the mail about All In, including a donation card and return envelope. YOu can put those in the mail back to us wth your check. If you don't have those, please mail your check to the address below, and write "All In 2023" in the memo line.

Do you accept Cryptocurrency gifts?

Yes! Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event. Donors do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated crypto that is donated and can typically deduct the fair market value of the donation on their taxes. This often makes Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrency donations one of the most tax efficient ways to support your favorite cause. You can give via Crypto by clicking here. 

I made a gift to the Presidential Hope Fund earlier this year. Will that count towards All In?

We are thrilled that you have already supported the Hope Fund this year; our students thank you. However, only gifts made specifically for All In are counted toward our goal. If you are able, we encourage you to make an additional gift within your means on May 10 and 11.

How can I set up a recurring gift or a pledge?

Recurring Gifts: Please visit our Hope Fund page to set up your monthly gift. And don't worry—your gift will be counted toward All in.

Pledges: Larger All In gifts ($1,000+) can be set up as pledges to be paid over the course of a year. Please get in touch with Maureen Plover to set up a pledge.

Thank you for your gift! We encourage you tell others why you are All In for Alvernia within your social networks.
